The Arc of Orange County is proud of its mission to provide advocacy and services to persons with developmental disabilities that promotes a focus on community involvement, active lifestyles and social value.
Employing a philosophy that maximizes the use of community resources, our organization strives to enhance quality of life for each individual by assisting them to determine which supports work best for them. We accomplish this method through various opportunities such as engagement in “independent optimized activities” that are based on personal preferences and strengths while increasing personal relationships.
Currently, The Arc of Orange County operates service programs in our community including: Respite Care, Adult Programs, and Financial Resources for Families, Supported Employment, Summer Internship Program and Volunteerism Programs.
